Rules for Reserving rooms in the BCC

  • You must be a Registered Vanderbilt Student organization or department to reserve our facility. Off campus groups and individuals can request an exception in writing and the request must be approved by the BCC Director. Please Be Advised that if approved, off campus groups will have a different set of fees, to be assessed based on the event.
  • Student Organizations will not be charged for utilizing our facilities, but may be charged if the facility is not cleaned up properly or if BCC property is damaged.
  • VU Departments and offices will be charged a fee for using our facilities unless the fee is waived by the BCC Director.

$50.00 per hour (minimum fee is $100.00)
$25.00 per hour (minimum fee is $50.00)

No charge for student groups, reservation required

*Please Contact LaShonda if you are planning to have any type of food at your event.

    • For each of the rooms, there is a minimum rental fee, however time over the minimum, the fee will be prorated by 1/2 or 1 hour increments.
    • PLEASE be sure to include proper set-up and clean up/breakdown time into your reservation time. If you are still in the facility after your reservation time, you will be charged for that time. There may be another reservation after your event, so you may receive a fine for interrupting another group´s reservation.
  • Fill out the web based form in its entirety. If you need more than one room, please fill out separate requests. If you want to suggest an alternate room choice, please list that in the “Event Purpose” section. If your request is recurring, please indicate the start date, end date, and dates you will not need to meet in the “Event Purpose” section.
  • You CAN NOT reserve a space with an email request or a call in…everyone must fill out a reservation form. No Exceptions Please.
  • If you must cancel or modify a reservation, please contact the BCC office or LaShonda King-Knowles as soon as possible, but preferably at least 24 hours in advance,
  • You will hear back from a BCC staff member As Soon As Possible regarding your request.
